As we begin a new year, one of the greatest things you can do for yourself and your loved ones is look inward and focus on your health and well being.
Resolutions are one thing that some people talk about but as we know, most resolutions don't last very long. Instead of a resolution how about committing yourself to something a little simpler.
What about trying something you have never done before? Most people are uncomfortable with the idea of the unknown, not knowing what is going to happen and sometimes the biggest hurdle is not being in control. Sometimes the best thing you can do for your health is to just let go.
Stress can affect the body and mind in more ways than you think. It can affect the way you sleep, eat, it can affect your job performance and can affect your overall well-being. There are many ways to help one to relax, one way to help the body and mind relax is by doing yoga.
By using yoga, one can release the stress built up in the muscles and also release the stress built up in your mind. Typical classes last about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. Your body and mind do enough for you every day, don't you owe it to yourself and wellbeing? (Hint: the answer is yes!) That's not too much to ask.
